She was very happy and excited. She borrowed a video, took a seat, and started watching it, but actually she could not concentrated on the movie for his appearance. Minami was very eager to know him, but she was too bashful to talk to him actively. Since then she went to the Audio-visual Center every week when he was there. But she still didn’t know which department he was in, let alone his name. Until one day Minami joined the welcoming camp for the frosh, some strides started to be made. To her surprise, she found that he joined, too. She fixed her eyes upon him as soon as he showed up. During these two days, she had been observing him. And she drew a conclusion that he was sort of shy and not so talkative. He always acted by himself. It seemed that he never felt lonely and wanted some company. Maybe these observations were not objective and accurate. But most important of all, Minami knew that they were in the same department, he was a sophomore, and that his name was Izumi. After the camp, Minami had totally fallen in love with Izumi. Every night she lay in bed and tried not to think about him, though she understood that she was only making vain attempts to resist her desire for seeing him. She wanted to know him more, to get more information about him. She wanted all of him. She suffered a lot and couldn’t bear such desire any more, so she wrote down a letter with all her emotions. Moonlight and sea breeze relaxed Minami. She had made a decision. She went back to the postbox and mailed the letter. They are assigned to a job where a Spaniard, Johnny Tapia (Jordi Molla) is smuggling drugs and a Russian (Peter Stormare) controls the distribution and owns almost every nightclub in town. Together they run the largest ecstasy import business in Miami. Burnettes sister, Syd (Gabrielle Union). is assigned to the same case as Lowrey and her brother. The police are having trouble finding evidence to convict Tapia resulting in Syd having to go undercover for five months, almost killing herself in a car chase, while Smith proves that he can drive and shoot at the same time and Lawrence checks to see how effective it is to shoot inside the vehicle rather than out. The climax of the movie is reached when there is a major shoot out in Cuba. Compared to the first Bad Boys movie this is a major disappointment to viewers who have waited 8 years for the sequel. Like all of Bays movies nothing is done in moderation, theres at least a million bullets fired in one scene alone! The motorway car chase is almost a replica of Matrix Reloaded and Terminator 3. Throw in some KKKs and dead bodies all over the motorway you have the total gross-out factor known to man. The movie is quite unpredictable but the anticipation Is lost because the plot has too many twists. : Smith gives a good performance and Lawrence isnt too bad, he gives a hilarious performance when he swallows a couple of Ecstasy pills. Molla and Stormare do a great job, the power hungry roles fit them like a glove. I think we will continue to see them acting in similar roles. The movies too long and too crude and probably not suitable for the certificate rating of 15. However the amount of comedy and action substitutes for this. This shows knowledge of the movie which is entertaining for the reader to read and not that factual or relevant to the reader. The third paragraph is the writers views and knowledge of the director Bay. The writer uses hyperbole- theres at least a million bullets fired in one scene alone! This exaggeration emphasises that there is a lot of shooting in that scene but also in other scenes too. The reader knows that this is an overstatement because of the use of the exclamation mark and also the quantity a million, one scene lasts approximately fifteen minutes, it is very difficult to fire, or create the illusion of, one million bullets. There is also comparison between a scene in Bad Boys II and similar scenes in other major films that had been released in 2003. This shows that the writer has knowledge on the industry and makes a good persuasion tool to influences the reader to agree with the writer. The last paragraph is the authors views on the actors performances. Therefore, mythology has become just as relevant in attempting to answer lifes greatest questions as any scientific method. Myths have shaped our world from the very beginning to the world we live in today. We will explore the common meaning of myth versus the academic meaning of myth, what are some of the common mythological themes, and the relationship between belief, knowledge, mythology, and religion. Myth is a word commonly used to describe a widely held but false belief or idea, (Google, 2014). As an example, when someone says thats a myth, they are commonly referring to something being false, untrue, or nonfactual. It is in this context that the majority of the population would use and have used the word myth. In an academic context, a myth is an ancient narrative that attempts to answer the enduring and fundamental human questions, (Leonard McClure, 2004, pg. 1). I would define a myth as a statement or  event that is believed in without factual basis. Just because the facts elude us, does not make something untrue or false, merely unproven. If something remains unproven, it should not be considered or perceived as false. After all, if it is not proven to be false, it does not make it true and vice versa. The most common mythological themes are of creation, the birth of order, and secretion themes. Many diverse culture around the globe address such similar and universal themes because they are all attempting to answer the most profound questions. Questions that deal with our existence, the existence of all around us, as well as what occurs upon the death of our bodies. These themes tend to cover the creation of all that exists, the order and mechanics of everything, and why things are the way they are. One commonly overlooked creation myth is that of the big bang theory. There is no factual data that indicates that the big bang occurred millions of years ago, or that it occurred at all, let alone that it will repeat the cycle of condensing all material into a sphere (the size of a period on this page, up to marble sized which is the source of another debate). Truth is that there is more data that points to a young earth, solar system, and universe than there is for millions of years (Creation Today, 2010). There exists an intertwining relationship between belief, knowledge, mythology, and religion whether or not we acknowledge it. Many religions are based on mythology and those in practice of such religions must believe in the knowledge attained from and passed on by centuries of practitioners prior to them. For example, a Buddhist believes he or she will reincarnate to a higher or lower social class depending on their behavior during their current life. This cycle is repeated until enlightenment is attained. This is based on the mythology of Buddha that has become a religion, which millions of people around the globe believe to be truth based on the writings of Buddha himself and the knowledge of all those who came after him. It is this intersection of belief, knowledge, mythology, and religion that has helped countless of people cope with fear of death, or fears in general, with poverty, injustice, suffering, and the unknown. Pieter Bruegel the Elder and Sons Pieter Bruegel , usually known as Pieter Bruegel the Elder to distinguish him from his elder son, was the first in a family of Flemish painters. He spelled his name Brueghel until 1559, and his sons retained the "h" in the spelling of their names. Pieter Bruegel the Elder, generally considered the greatest Flemish painter of the 16th century, is by far the most important member of the family. He was probably born 1529, in Breda in the Duchy of Brabant, now in The Netherlands. He was accepted as a master in the Antwerp painters' guild in 1551, and was apprenticed to Coecke van Aelst, a leading Antwerp artist, sculptor, architect, and designer of tapestry and stained glass. Bruegel traveled to Italy in 1551 or 1552, completing a number of paintings, mostly landscapes, there. Returning home in 1553, he settled in Antwerp. Ten years later, Bruegel moved permanently to Brussels. He married van Aelst's daughter, Mayken, in 1563. His association with the van Aelst family drew Bruegel to the artistic traditions of the Mechelen region in which allegorical and peasant themes run strongly. Dated paintings have survived from each year of the period except for 1558 and 1561. Within this decade falls Bruegel's marriage to Mayken Coecke in the Church of Notre-Dame de la Chapelle in Brussels. His paintings, including his landscapes and scenes of peasant life, stress the absurd and vulgar, yet are full of zest and fine detail. They also expose human weaknesses and follies. He was sometimes called the "peasant Bruegel" from such works as Peasant Wedding Feast (1567). It was in Rome, in 1553, that Bruegel produced his earliest signed and dated painting, Landscape with Christ and the Apostles at the Sea of Tiberias. The holy figures in this painting were probably done by Maarten de Vos, a painter from Antwerp then working in Italy. Among his patrons was Cardinal Antione Perrenot de Granvelle. Granville was president of the council of state in the Netherlands, in whose palace in Brussels the sculptor Jacques Jonghelinck had a studio. He and Bruegel had traveled in Italy at the same time, and his brother, a rich Antwerp collector, Niclaes, was Bruegel's greatest patron, having by 1566 acquired sixteen of his paintings. A standard deviation in the SAT is around 100 points per section, and is around a 6 on the ACT.
